You can just drop the tanks when you take them off and its a problem free standing the tanks on the valves to put them on. Most I put on and take off in the water. Try lying the aqualung on its back on the ground and then lying on your back on it to put it on. I have done that before, when I can't find anywhere to rest it vertical to put it on. 4700gbera <4700gbera@um*.cc*.um*.ed*> said on Thu 24 Nov 1994 13:04:29 EDT (Subject: Inverted tanks.):- > ... I wonder how badly swimming with tanks "butt-first" increases drag, or is it a moot question, with a fully decked-out TechDiver being as hydro- dynamic as a brick in the best of circumstances?? Another thing that matters, is how much hydrodynamic drag and also excess rotation-inertia he has on twisting and turning and rolling over. I have dived with a very light 45-minute-duration oxygen rebreather called a Salvus (formerly made by Siebe Gorman), and with it I was as agile as a snorkeller.
