If the reg is attached at the bottom, wouldn't securing the long LP
hoses so the run up the tanks to the neck area, with the last attachment
being very secure, make a dropped reg no different from in a normal setup?
I can even envision some type of breakaway lanyard setup to keep a second
stage in the vicinity of the diver's mouth if dropped, but that would not 
impede rapid sharing....

I wonder how badly swimming with tanks "butt-first" increases drag, or is
it a moot question, with a fully decked-out TechDiver being as hydro-
dynamic as a brick in the best of circumstances??
