You think because I am suggesting that the reality of dive training is that students are not prepared for what they are doing and that the instructor needs to be capable of dealing with that, that I am advocating unpreparedness on the part of the student? I don't see the connection between the two Mike, and I suspect your changing topics mid stream on me again here. I dont advocate trust me dives either, but I am willing to recognize that they do occur and that they are not all the fault of the student. If an instructor is training an unprepared student then they are also at fault right Mike? Because a good instructor just refuses to train the student who is totally unprepared from a basic skills or an experience standpoint, right Mike?? The best instructor takes this student under her wing and brings them to the level of where they need to be-slowly-and then beyond to where they want to go, right Mike?? You don't think that the classroom door should be open to all, and that if their skills aren't good enough to survive then oh well, caveat emptor, do you Mike?? Maybe you haven't noticed but thats what you have been saying, that's where my awe for your inhumanity came from, my friend.
