By viton, what do they mean? Green, or brown? You'd think a reputable shop would know that there's more to O-rings - yoke seal Orings especially - than color. And anyhow, the proper hard yoke seal O-rings usually come in funny colors too, so how do they know they aren't viton? Of course, there's no law that says you have to have the same O-ring in the valve when you get it filled as when you dive. I hear they are not hard to change. BTW, Sherwood makes a O2 kit for their valves. Since they are a major valve OEM, one assumes they may have done their homework on the compound and duro.
