When I was there a couple of years ago, on a reasonable sunny day, no light was needed at all outside the wreck. Penetration "wasn't recommended" and my buddy and I weren't set up for it, so we stayed outside. We did use flashlights looking in through the hatches. If you're thinking of going inside (and have the training to do so), think thin. Those hatches aren't too big. You may not want a big bulky cannister with three hours burn time for a 20 or 30 minute penetration in tight quarters. If I had a smaller cannister or a big handheld, I'd seriously think about taking that in preference to my big cave light. I would of course keep my two backup lights on my harness. -- Anthony DeBoer <adb@on*.ca*> -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
