Fred, I would recommend the 50-watt Ikelite SpD-AA for wreck diving. The NiCad battery pack is smaller and less bulky than cave diving canister lights, with the tradeoff being burn time. While the 1-hour burn time is inadequate for the needs of many cave divers, it is just fine for most wreck diving. It recharges quickly back on the boat. The head also weighs much less than other lights. I have had mine for almost 3 years now (before that I used bigger / heavier / bulkier cave lights), and have never had any problems with it whatsoever. I have personally dove it to wrecks beyond the 50-fathom curve, without leakage of any kind. And it's taken a lot of abuse very well.
