You could argue the other way. ie You could deco on pure O2 after any dive. Stops are shorter, so you come nowhere near CNS tox. Ploppy dives are more likely to have stops at depths appropriate for pure O2 deco. If you accept that most tables 'bend and mend' in their raw forms, you are better off starting your O2 treatment asap.
