Mr. Dillinger, Please, please tell me why I should use 80/20. You see, I have a dive coming up later this week that I am really worried about and I am wonderinging if your way of doing things might be better. The dive is a square dive profile, 290 for between 65 and 75 minutes. Oh, and it includes a one mile cave penetration. I have done this same dive several times before, always using pure o2 and always without incident, but with all the knowledge you seem to have, and obviously a lot of experience, I thought maybe you could help me out. Please try to be as specific as possible about the advantages I can expect to see, and be sure to give some examples where you have used this technique on dives comparable to the one I have coming up. Thank you so much for your help, Jess ---------- > From: dillinger <tdillinger@em*.ms*.co*> > To: bufclown@pa*.ne*; Techdiver Mailing List <techdiver@aquanaut.com> > Subject: Re: Question > Date: Monday, May 18, 1998 6:16 AM > > dont worry what the wkpp says if you have taken any classes on deco you > would no why 80/20 is recommended for . just curios what is po2 on 100% at > 20 ft. you should no this. yes you can deco 80/20 for any dive > > > -----Original Message----- > From: Andy Feifarek <bufclown@pa*.ne*> > To: Techdiver Mailing List <techdiver@aquanaut.com> > Date: Sunday, May 17, 1998 6:07 PM > Subject: Question > > > >Now granted, I do see WKPP's theory on the 80/20 mix used for deco, > >My question is does anyone criticize the use of is for off-gassing on a > >not so technical dive?
