dan
this prove absolutly nothing. i am sure that they have seen guys like this get
bent & they might actually be fat out of shape guys. does that mean that ALL
FAT PEOPLE have have poor crdiovascular rates & the ALL of them are out of
shape & ALL of them
WILL come up screaming from a dive.
you must start to realise how narrowminded your arguments on this are getting.
i have seen fat, skinny, inbeteweenies, men & women get bent on dives that you
would think were non dives & conversly i have seen the oposite occur on deep
tech dives. the point here is dan you have no point other than to blow your
own horn on how great is your conditioning & that means that everyone else
should FIT into your mold. because of course you must be perfect.
well dan sorry to tell you this but we live in an imperfect world & for all of
your models of divers i can show you the oposite numebers of divers that dove
successfully.

as far as the chest beating part of your post that you were able to do a _____
dive for X min & the do Y dive & got out of the water in B min....... So what!
i have seen guys dive to 180 for 30 twice in a day & come up when the "air
ran oiut so it was time to come up" . eventually all of them got bent, not
that day but on other days. in those days they were only diving air now we use
other gasses to assist us in avoiding the bends & they also if you push it
will get you out of the water much sooner. so your example only shows me that
you are interested in trying to impress us more than you are tring to make a
point.

remember i am not against your concept but i just can't agree with all of your
conclusion. BTW i think you should take Capt Zero up on the challange - hell
you will get a chance to dive some really great wrecks at the same time.

You need to talk to the WKPP guys about the human pretzels they
see----typically very fat guys with poor aerobic base. The fat guys will do
twice the deco the WKPP guys do, and be sceaming in pain after their dive.
Ask Bill Mee or George. On their last revovery attempt dive here, George,
Bill, and Robert did 250 for about 24 minuts, and did deco for 45 minutes.
And this was a working dive. The obese, sedentary divers would NOT be able
to do this profile without major pretzelling------and then after this dive,
we all went to dive the hole in the Wall, a cave dive on a ledge---ave depth
about 140, for like 30 minutes. We did about 20 minutes of deco and we were
 out.

 Regards,
 Dan
