All, There seems to be a major misunderstanding here. Let me help to clear it up: I ADVOCATE THE USE OF HELIUM AT ANY DEPTH PROVIDING THE DIVER HAS COMPEDENT TRAINING!!!! I BELIVE THAT END'S SHOULD NOT EXCEDE 130FSW WHEN EVER PRACTICAL!!!! AIR SHOULD NEVER UNDER ANY CERCOMESTANCE BE USED BELOW 180 FSW AND SHALLOWER THAN 150 FSW IN COLD WATER!!!! I BELIVE THAT PPO2 SHOULD NOT EXCEDE 1.4ATA FOR ANY BOTTOM MIX AT ANY TIME FOR ANY REASON!!!! I BELIVE THAT PPO2 SHOULD NOT EXCEDE 1.6ATA FOR DECOMPRESION (AT REST) PURPOSES!!!! EXPERIMENTATION BYOND THE LIMETS OF A DIVERS UNDERSTANDING AND/OR TRAINING IS JUST AS, IF NOT MORE, DANGROUS THAN DEEP AIR!!!! AND IS THE SAME TYPE OF STUPIDITY AS DEEP AIR!!!! Is my position perfectly clear now? I have never visited the web page referred to in the post I am replying to. Therefore, I will NOT comment on its content. I will never condone the use or preparation of any compressed gas or mixture of gasses by anyone without competent instruction. And then only if the risks are fully understood and accepted by each member of the dive team. Do not try to lie about my position. I will not accept it and I promise I will expose any lie I find!!!! By the way no more requests for Mr. Cobbs home phone number. #1 I dont have it (never looked for it). #2 if you want or need it bad enough you can probably find it. The number of requests have been worse that a mail bomb.
