Hi Jan,

My experience is not to put enough silicon in the 1st stage that it may
trap water.  Once after an ice dive I left a MK15 for a couple of weeks
w/o removing the spec.  I don't know why, but it corroded big time.  The
regulator still works, but it was a close call.
