I am totally unconnected to the WKPP, but time and again its members have responded to my questions with valuable information. I don't find it at all difficult to sort out the information I need from the information I don't need, and I have a hard time understanding why some individuals seem to. The bottom line is that I want to learn, and I adapt my listening skills to whomever is speaking. Someone who wants to teach would also do well to adapt their speaking skills to whomever is listening. Nevertheless, as a "listener" I am acutely aware of the fact that nobody owes me anything and that any complaints one might make about a speaker failing to adhere to this approach are therefore both ineffective and unwarranted. If you don't want to listen/learn that's your business, but please stop trying to squelch people who have information to share that a lot of us want and need to know. - Todd
