I agree, the markup on spare parts is atrocious. 

I wanted to remark on something George said about fires; it is true that the
'o' ring on the valve will blow - for a steel cylinder. If you are talking
about an aluminum however, there is a good chance of a catastrophic explosion
if a burst disc is not in place. In a fire, the aluminum can soften much
faster than the o-ring will blow.
