In a retrospective study of survivors, attacks were more likely to occur when the DPV had a big picture of a fish on it; when the diver was wearing black; when the viz was less than 4' and when the diver went Nyaaaah at the shark" If you want to reduce your risk consider eliminating those risk factors that are convenient. The International Shark Attack File might give us those numbers. We'll see. pH
