Substitute shaman for fisherman and I'll believe you. If there have been
even five attacks on divers on scooters - ever - I'll buy you dinner. If
there have been more than five but less than ten, and I am willing to
include jet-skis too, then we can describe the incidents and people can
make up ther own mind. There may well be a pattern (shark, scooter,
stroke). If there are less than five, it seems to me that you're in
greater danger of being entangled and drowned by the scooter itself, than
falling down the throat of some innocent shark bystander. I tell you, I
wish I'd had a scooter in the Red Sea this summer. Not a single one
sighted in 10 days of offshore reef and open sea diving.
