use a file to soften the burrs ----- if the rust really starts to bother you
then you might consider washing your gear and drying it after each dive --- I
on the other hand sparay it with SaltX and let it just stay wet all the time
-- the only time dive gear needs to be dry is when it is brand new or when
you no longer dive.
