Pete, those who die get autopsied, those who get "paradoxical gas embolism"
and live do not, but of those who live, and get tested, the incidence is of PFO
is overwhelming. The ones who die usually just blew off everything, while the
paradoxicals did nothing wrong, hence the moniker.

Pete, besides, you know I am always right, and if I am not it is becasue we
are not talking about the same thing. My point is only that if one wants to
play
decompression diving, get checked.

Most people are self-limiting because they are natural weenies. The PFO gig
is three fold: do a dive that generates bubbles, have the flap open, have
bubbles go through. ALL THREE must happen, but Pete, if we went to Las Vegas,
and you put a quarter in the slot machine, and I held a gun to your head, and
told you that I would pull the trigger if you got three oranges, would you not
like to have a look a that machine a little more closely, to see what the odds
REALLY are?
