Pierre, the acrylic light case breaks when dropped with the battery in it- do not leave the battery in it, especially when transporting, and always carry a spare. There are two huge risks in cave diving : driving to the site, and breaking your gear before you get to dive . Lexan would be ideal, and Alex Varouxis has one, but he machined it from a solid block- it does not come in tube of the right thickness (it flexes). Aluminum would be great if it did not conduct electricity . PVC is cool, but the sizes are either a little too big (5" id), or too small (4" id). Been there, done that , Pete , take the battery out. - G George M. Irvine III DIR WKPP 1400 SE 11 ST Ft Lauderdale, FL 33316 954-493-6655 FAX 6698 Email gmiiii@in*.co*
