geo..this stuff is going to happen with or with out a
video,,,,padi,,,,naui,,,,etc..
there seems to exist a group of divers that "take off more than they can
chew" maybe the training agencies(sic)help their appetites but in the
end,,,,they are the ones to say
"yea" or "nea" to the dive...

 many years ago i adopted the " dive alone" philo. 
if you dive alone,,,,you DO NOT need an octopus...a 30 c.f pony will get you
out of most wrecks.if you do not have an octo,,,,so what....you are alone
anyway...if you have a freeflow....the octo is for shit anyway....and.....IF
YOU DIVE ALONE>>>YOU WILL DIE ALONE....this may be somewhat convoluted
thinking....but it has kept me alive..
in the great lakes (not caves) for over 20 years of diving..... to some it is
the challenge of the exploration....but to some it is the challenge of
staying alive under water.  it is time to move on and put the tradgies
behind...there is still enough water for all of us,,,
