  Martha - make it simple: backup around the neck, breath the "octopus". Try to 
screw that one up - you can't. hose stuffing of any kind is only done by idiots 
- I am sure of this. Hose stuffing also means hose "retaining" or anything
other 
than breathing the octo. Only a blithering idiot would do this, and even a
brand 
new diver can find his reg when it is IN HIS MOUTH and his backup is AROUND HIS 
NECK.
