Interesting I use the sherwoods on my deco stages because of their total dependability and have done so for years. I have never encountered the freeflow problems you relate to and I hardly ever do more than wash the regs off. while I use a mixture of posiedon and scubapro first stages on my bottom mix regs (as I have backups) I would not consider them near as dependable as a deco stage reg.
