If they do not have adequate experience as per our standards then they cannot attend a crtossover until their experience level is per our prerequisite requirements. tm >Do people get told how long it will take to get to trimix instructor? We must maintain our standards and we do. those who meet the requirements may advance within IANTD or crossover from any agency. But no rubber stamp crossovers such as some agencies do. We have a responsibility to the diving public to insure our minimum standards are met, and they are quite reasonable in reference to the degree of responsibility and the safety involves as a trimix instructor.
