Line reel and lift bag do make for a more streamlined configuration, but are not used in the same manner as an up-reel. When you pop a bag on a line reel you do not tie the line to the wreck, you simply float beneath it. The boat follows the bag. Up reels are bulky and it seems that using a line reel would be more streamlined. If a line reel is used as an up reel then what size line would be needed?
