I WAS in a good mood before :^)

Why don't you try the other method on a few dives - enough to become
proficient, which shouldn't be too many (it took me about 2 dives).
Try deploying it and restowing it then ask yourself why you would ever
want to switch back :^) Even without untucking it from the waist
mounted light (or under your belt) your partner will now have about 5'
of hose and now thinking about unstuffing it...

No more bungees (these are for jumping).
