Actually i was wrong about what was paid. here's the numbers sold you the used scooter ( a unit bought brand new off a local shop) had few dives worked well and didn't leak when sold. Shipped it to you, you used it Curt called to let John know it leaked, John paid over 350 (not the 450 i metioned) to have the motor rewound and leaks repaired. Will send you a copy of the bill if you like. Curt called to say it needed another 150. for a center section, Curt was told no more, tell him we'll take it back and refund him the money. You bought a relatively new mako with a interacter charger for 800. John put 350. into it on yours and Curts word. So now he sold the scooter for 450 dollars now you guys tell him for another 150. it will be alright. I'm sorry it didn't work out for you but i think all that could be done was except sending it back and getting your money back when that was an option. I don't know what transpired between the scooter, you and curt. but the bill is up here (and paid in full). So if you pay to have a motor removed rebuilt and reinstalled and they unit leaks after that whose responsibilty is that? No one ever questioned the intial repair and it was as i said paid for. The scooter was taken complete apart to repair it and after assemly and repair it leaked again. ummmm. -----Original Message----- From: RLatulip@ao*.co* <RLatulip@ao*.co*> To: william <william@ca*.co*>; deep6@se*.co* <deep6@se*.co*>; scubait@ix*.ne*.co* <scubait@ix*.ne*.co*> Cc: snethkamp@ne*.rr*.co* <snethkamp@ne*.rr*.co*>; cavers@cavers.com <cavers@cavers.com> Date: Saturday, March 13, 1999 3:11 PM Subject: Re: Dive Rite Manifold >In a message dated 3/13/1999 11:36:33 AM Eastern Standard Time, william@ca* >ntn.com writes: > >> I know all about this isn't this the mako he sold you used. for 800. and >> paid curt 450. in repairs (after you got it) and when you "needed" another >> 150. in warranty Work (wasn't it in there getting modified) he said he >> couldn't but offered to give you your money back? > >If Kurt charged $450 to glue the center window then that is between John >and Kurt.
