Locally, most of us use low pressure bottles for Argon. Mine is
rated @1800psi. As such, we can get a good fill by cascading. I made some
dives with a fellow using a 6 cuft. aluminum tank rated for 3000psi. He was
topping his off with air to get it up to pressure. (Probably reduces its
insulation qualities, however.)
Personally I wouldn't want to get a breathing mix fill from a
station that was using the same booster or fill whips to pump argon. Why
take the chance?
