There are many wrecks around here but most, if not all of them require
some traveling by car, ferry, and/or boat. They are world class wrecks,
most sunk on purpose and prepared specifically for diving. Those I have
dived myself include: the Chaudiere, the Columbia, the G.B. Church, the
Mackenzie, and there are some others but I can't name them off the top of
my head, and some of those require traveling to Vancouver Island or
taking a multiple day charter from the mainland.

There are all sorts of charter boats, departing from the Vancouver area
and also closer to the wrecks themselves. I could look up contact names
and numbers if you are interested, just send me a private email. All the
charters I have dived with have been professional and knowledgeable. There
are liveaboards and day trips, depending on how much you want to pay and
how much time you have.

I haven't seen too many people diving trimix, but I'm sure you can get it.
Nitrox is pretty big around here. Some charter boats carry it but I
haven't heard of any which provide trimix, but I could be wrong.

I posted this for anyone else who might be interested in diving wrecks in
the Vancouver area, as I am interested in posts dealing with wreck diving
elsewhere. Please feel free to email me direct and I will find out any
information I can. I am a bit of a newcomer to technical diving so I
don't have too much info about trimix and that sort of thing but I can
find out if there is a need.
