I guess my response wasn't clear. IF you have the experience and do okay on the checkout, I think you pretty much roam free. If they decide you can't handle staging and deco, THEN they keep you within no-deco limits and watch you closely. It is kinda reminescent of scuba cops, but the location is isolated and the nearest chamber is at Kwaj. That's only if the U.S. Army feels like letting you in.....! The tech gear is for the extended bottom times and penetrations into the flight hangar deck on the Saratoga. It can add up to some substantial deco. I agree with you about the mix, but was just passing that information along. At DEMA, a guy from Mad Dog Expeditions spoke up about what a good operation this is, for whatever that may be worth. Overall it looked pretty awesome, but I'll try to get some diving in at Kwaj (MUCH cheaper), Majuro, and California on the same trip. David H.
