Having made dives on many different types of submarines, I made a = special rig for getting into the sail of subs. I purchased an Italian = (SOS) short manifold cross-piece from OMS that allowed me to connect = Scuba Pro Slim Line 72's side-by-side (tank-against-tank) a few years = back. I can grease thru any scuttle where others get stuck (ie Billie = Palmer on the USS Bass). Granted you don't have as much air (unless you = do the no-no and overfill from 3000 psi to 3600 psi) but you can go = where others can't. Another option is to have a 20 foot LP hose, drop your tanks, and = penetrate with a pony as back-up on a "Deep Throat" regulator. Works = pretty well for tight spots but can get hairy. Should have pretty good = visibility for this option. Respectfully, Jay K. Depth and objective are, obviously, crucial to determining what you will need and/or want to bring. Can you be more specific? Which boat, where and when are you thinking of diving it?
