Hi everybody,

My name is Juha Flinkman, and I do my wreck diving mostly in the 
Baltic Sea. I'm new to this list, just joined today. Got the address from my 
buddy Reima Raty. I was happy to hear that this list existed, and 
especially happy to read the info included in joining message. I for 
one didn't like the awful info/flak ratio at techdiver. 

And I have a question for you u-boat wreckers:

I've heard of this substance called "red mercury" that has been found 
in u-boat wrecks off the east coast of U.S & Canada. What is this 
stuff, what was it used for in U-boats of Deutsche Kriegsmarine, and 
do you know if submarines of any other navies contained this stuff?
