We have been trying to get a nitrox facility here in Ct. for years. This year we got 2 one in Wallyworld and one in Fairfield. The one in Fairfield is the shop I started at, and over the years I have become good freinds with the owner Noel He told me at one time during his training process (to become a Nitrox tech) that the rules had changed. And that nitrox under 50% was not going to need specially cleaned tanks and would be marked with a temporary sticker (like a velcro) Of course this could only be premix to avoid the 100% O2. Has anyone heard of this. I think it related to relaxed gas handling rules. Am I entirely wrong here? this was all second hand. I'm sure someone will gladly correct me or give me the exact info. But I am positive some change occured becuase he did start pumping Nitrox with his old compressor (when he could not before), but with improved filtration. Doug Kitchen
