I dont use Dive rite, but have been following these discussions for weeks now. And I am no engineer. But occasionly I get a glimmer of a solution(or at least another approach). If lower pressure inside the battery housing causes implosion. Why not equalize the pressure? would'nt a fitting like on a dry suit where you pumped up the pressure remove the problem? Agreed the light should be designed correctly. But the thousands of Nuetraleak owners might like an option. if lights sealed at 1 atm were pumped up to 3 or 4 wouldnt that greatly increase the strenght of the unit?? Hell I dont know but I havent heard it mentioned. Im sure someone will show me the error of my thoughts. Doug Kitchen
