A PROPERLY, and I stress PROPERLY, run (not stringed) line will give 
you a continuous reference to the exit of the wreck in visibility, no 
visibility, lights out (all of them), earthquake, hurricane, tsunami, 
etc. It's not hard to do it right; its also not hard to do it wrong.  
Without it you have nothing but your ass in your hands when you get 
"disoriented."  News flash, "The Diver Became Disoriented..."  How 
sterile. You mean LOST! 'And that's not a good feeling.  Then you join 
the ranks of the rest of the dead wreck gurus. Take it from someone who 
learned this the hard way, learn how to run a line PROPERLY and do so. 
Though just my opinion.

P.S. Are there any good wrecks left to dive in 70ft?
