The Nikonos V is good to about 67m, provided you take care of the
camera. All o-rings (including rewind and advance shaft) must be in
good condition, properly lubricated, and properly seated. Do not
over lubricate the o-rings, the purpose of lubrication is to allow
the o-ring to seat properly and distort freely.

Past 67m the Nikonos V has problems with the pressure. I've had
mine as deep as 80m for 25 minutes, but at that depth I was only
able to expose one frame and then the camera would not advance the
film easily. It did not leak, but it must have been very close to
its limits. - Tony

p.s. As always, be prepared emotionally and financially for a
     flooded camera.
