<< The placebo effect is VERY strong and if somebody tells me this mix will make me feel better, it will in many cases even if it does nothing. Hell, I'm sure I'd be tired after just hauling equipment, suiting up, the adrenilin rush from the anticipated fun, and doing it again without breathing more than .79atm of N2. Many Variables, and not enough facts. Art >> Art, it is not a placebo effect. When I first started using O2 for deco, no one told me it would make me feel better. It just did! This was back in early 1987, before I even knew that there was such a thing as technical diving. A long-time commercial diver that I worked with gave me some air/O2 deco tables that he said would safely get me out of the water faster. I had complained to him about the long deco times me and my buddies were pulling on our deep dives. After my first O2 deco dive, I became nervous because I felt so good! I thought I was bent and was losing feeling in my body because I did not feel all the aches and tired feeling that I was used too. Now, why this is so, I don't know, but it does work and that's a fact. - Tony
