Roger, Ok, Blue Grotto may be no big deal for serious cave divers who have been all over this area, but I think Paradise is a pretty cool site. It is a cave system, and in the third chamber inside there is bottom at 140 feet, with stalagtites on the cielings and lots of fossil beds with mastodon bones and other cool stuff. The stalagtities mean that prior to the last ice age this was an above ground cave, and all the marine fossils show that it filled with saltwater before it became a fresh water spring. I think this makes it worthwhile as a destination, and I did say hooking up with Jarrad Jablonski of Ginnie and WKPP would be a good way to find access to many more springs most people would not be aware of or have access to. And since Blue Grotto would be on the way to Paradise, it made sense to mention it. Dan >Blue Grotto and Paradise Spring are Cavern Dives.
