We have used and abused the Nemesis 2 Nitrox for 5 months with no problems at
all. The reason for cable problems would appear to be a mounting problem. The
Tank unit was never designed to be suspended by the lead from the transducer.
If
you want to class this as a design fault the I suppose that's a matter of
opinion. We do not clip the unit to any of the hoses since it is possible for
it
to slip down and strain the cable. The best option is to either surgical tube
it
underneath the manifold bar or clip it to the hose and bungee it tight.
Condider
a cable tie around the hose to prevent the tank unit moving.

As far as software goes the problem is usually 99% a PC configuration
problem. The Analyst software needs exclusive access to the COM port it is
connected to. Accessing via Windows is problematical, Port sharing causes
problems. I guess Cochran could be more specific in this area.

The bottom line is that nothing comes close.

But then that's only my opinion!
