The heater setup comes with a cable gland and strain sleeve. All you need to do
is cut a small hole in the suit in your chosen spot - the heater pack comes
with
about a metre of cable for inside the suit. Once you have sealed this fitting
in
the suit (relativley easy), the system is ready to go. All you have is a short
cable with conectors on the inside and outside of the suit that stays
permenantly fitted.
