I have to agree about the plug wires. The problem's worsened by the short
lead, tempting the owner to double back the wire, which puts way too much
stress on the coupling.

Since I moved mine to the same arm same shoulder config, I've had no trouble
with range. I did have a problem with the 'dial-a-mix' last Sunday. I
tried to program it on the boat for M1 36, M2 99.99, and I couldn't get it
to give me the 'HI' 'LOW' prompts. After fidling with it for 10 minutes I
gave up and did the dive on tables (which I was planning to do anyway).
The problem was that the computer might have gone into lockout because it
wasn't set up to detect the 20' switch to O2. As it was the profile would
have been ok for air so it didn't matter.

Later on the dock I tried to program it again for the second dive (air/O2)
and just after I got it programmed, it started flashing the low battery
indicator. I changed the TU batteries, then couldn't get it to program
the mix again.

There must be a time window between powering up and the 'recall' mode
that you need to hit when plugging in the wand. It seems like if you miss
the window, you have to wait for the TU to power off, then restart it
and try again. Anybody have similar experience?

Scott.
