Terho>	The problem lays in the softness. All soft
	rings wear out fast with high pressure applied
	to them as we do in the tanks, valves, etc.
	So, you can use them but you must replace
	them very often.

	For all applications involving high pressure
	the O-rings should be a bit harder material
	than the normal (or Viton) rings. The normal
	hardness is 70 shore, I have used 90 shore
	rings in tanks and valves and had no problems
	at all.
