If, in the above, you mean "Hogarthian" in the sense of minimalism, then I 
would totally agree with you. If you mean it as a specific rig 
configuration, well....I guess you've never tried to collect fish 
specimens at 450 feet on a solo dive in your underwear.  Because if you 
had, you would know that such dives require independent doubles with 
different mixtures, a UK-1200 light (optional), and no friggin' hoses 
around anyone's neck.
