Rod, say explicitly that you have no knowledge of the role of Dive Rite
in closing cavers and that by correctly interpreting your statements,
several divers reached the correct conclusions and fairly castegated
you for something that you did do. Your recent explanation sounds
arrogant and biased. Admit you made a mistake and stop this nonsense
immediately. Look at what George said as a result of your post.
Credibility of the list would be well served by a quick unequivocal
public apology from you to Ken about THIS particular issue that YOU created.
Best regards, Rich

P.S. In case it's not overtly clear, this is an attempt at humor. I refuse
to join in the mudfest.

P.P.S. Ken, I haven't added my "thanks" for keeping cavers going yet, so
let me take this opportunity. THANK YOU!! Although I am not a cave diver
(only did it once, will probably never do it again), I have learned an
enormous amount from the list. One more thing...it seems as though Rod's
original message was private to Ken, and that Ken reposted Rod's message
publicly. Not to detract from the first half of this "P.P.S.", I'd like
to note that this is generally bad form - having been the victim of it on
several occasions.

That's all.

Rich
