I believe these are actually made by the Italian Isotta(sp?) co, the same people that make the Isotechnic(sp?) strobes for cameras. The lights that Iso makes have all interchangeable parts, so you could even concieveably eventually change your light into a battery/cable/wand unit, if you can order the parts (and if you want to!). However, the Iso lights/strobes only come in red, while your B-100 is likely blue! While the Iso products typically have great features, they have a less-than stellar reputation for reliability and repair turnaround. (In fact, Jeff of CameraTech, previously the sole US importer of Iso strobes, has given up on them after several years of major hassles.) It is nice to see that your experience via Beuchat was a positive one -- perhaps this heralds good things for Iso products in general, particularly strobes. -frank -- fhd@in*.ne* | The computer in as inanimate object; therefore it 1 212 559 5534 | must, eventually, respond to reason. 1 917 992 2248 | -- Anonymous 1 718 746 7061 |
