I'm not sure anyone has ever demonstrated "high CNS O2 toxicity
probability at a ppO2 of 1.6ata". In fact, I'm not even sure anyone has
ever demonstrated any statistical differences anywhere within the 1.4-1.8
ata range. If the USN knows something, I don't know where it's been
published, other than their manual, which neglects to provide specifics. I
highly recommend that people maintain their PO2 at 1.4 ata or less because
it's a grey area, and there is no reliable warning symptoms of convulsion,
and the consequences of convulsion are likely to be very grave.

Again, I'm not trying to be combative....

Rich
