Subject: Dry Suit Inflation
From: Harold Gartner <hgartner@ra*.or*>
To: "Tech. Diver" <techdiver@terra.net>
To those of you who use drysuits in water temps in the range of 50-55
degrees f, please, if you can tell me how much gas (Argon or Air) that
you use on dives as follows:

1. Square profile, to depths of about 250-300fsw for 15-20 minutes and
the necessary deco;
2. Typical "sport" dives of up to 140fsw for 20-30 minutes and any
necessary deco with some depth spikes up to say 60fsw.
3. Any other profiles you can recall and describe together with the gas usage.

In short, in my limited experience with a seperate inflation system, I
find that 13 cu.ft. is far far more gas than I need.

Thanks
