Am not quite getting the list postings due to computer problems, 
but I saw the thread on SS backplates in the archives.  Anyway, a 
gentleman named Chris Friel (I could be wrong on the first name, 
but the last name is correct) makes SS backplates in either 6# or 
8# negative configurations.  I don't know the cost and don't know 
if he uses 304, 316 or some other SS.  I would want 316, but it's 
a little more pricey.  It seems like a nice way to delete the 
extra weight between the tanks or a drop weight, without having 
to sign away your first born to OMS for their SS version.  
Currently, I go with a drop weight to assure I can hang without 
floating away.
