Nice flame job, G... You are quite good at swearing online, and making attempts to put people down. Unfortunately it won't work with me (and I seem to notice it doesn't work on anyone else, either). I don't know if you know Rod Farb, or his knowledge/abilities as a diver - but I do. Rod is not only one of the most highly respected divers I know of, he is also a great guy, and doesn't deserve that kind of abuse in an open forum (as a matter of fact, I'm a pretty nice guy too, and don't deserve to be called names). My reference to your flame was designed as a joke, mostly between me and my friends who know Rod - you, of course, were the butt of it (but then again, when you call someone an "asshole" online, you somewhat deserve a little comeuppance). Somehow, somewhere, you acquired a woodrow for Rod (I think I know where... Could it be something to do with a certain ship...?), but that is between you and him. Maybe you guys could stage a shootout with powerheads at 400 fsw... I'm not going to answer to your charge that I'm a "weenie" diver - compared to guys like Rod, I am still a bit of a weenie diver, which is why I subscribed to this forum - to glean more information from guys who have been tech diving longer than I. I don't presume to know more than Rod (or you for that matter) about diving, but I do know one thing - I can recognize bad manners when I see them. So if you wanna flame me back, go right ahead - I'll continue to scan my e-mail for bits of good info I can get - I'll continue to dive deep (with my CCR-155), and hopefully I will continue to learn from divers from all walks of life, hell, I might even learn something from you one day...
