Aside from the problem that these sensors have to be too hot to work for SCUBA air.... Lawrence Leong notes that while Porsche sells a $190 O2 sensor that is identical to a $30 Alfa sensor (Bosch Motronic), you should be advised that good ol' Ford has a 3-wire O2 sensor that's identical to both the Euro-car sensors, but costs way less than $30. You can get them at Pep Boys for even less than the Ford dealer asks. I can see it now -- start a BIG fire, stick the O2 sensor in the fire, and open up the enriched-O2 bottle at the fire to measure its oxygen content. Then go scuba diving as your boat burns to the waterline.
