Instead of building a "big fire" in order to heat up your Lamda (Automotive Exhaust Gas) Sensors to 300+ F to work right, why not just mount a small butane torch right on your EAN cylinder ( Use a pony tamer ). That way, you have your heat source right next to the gas you want to analyze. Also, this would serve another purpose. Just think of all the extra room you would get on a boat as everyone saw your rig (complete with butane torch) and slowly moved away. I have a dumb question. We spend so much money on training and equipment and gaining experience as "Tech Divers", why are we risking the composition of our sole breathing medium at depth on some sensor " that you can get at discount at Pep Boys "? I'll spend the money on a proper sensor, and then be able to experience descending, as well as ascending on my next dive. Send the flames, I'm waiting. :( ! Kevin
