Mark, I am not slamming the Seahunter because I crew on the Eagles Nest. I brought up the point of the Seahunter because (and I failed to point this out in my earlier posting) ANDI headquaters (I'll use that name from now on as opposed to Island Scuba for the sake of semantics) uses that boat exclusively, and many of their customers wind up coming to me for fills or diving with some of my own customers. Now you may think that I am using this list as a way of "badgering" the competition, but then you may very well be an idiot if you really believe that. ANDI headquaters says one thing and does another. No examples here unless requested. (Go ahead George, i'm waiting for you to ask). My point about the 50/50 and what should be done? Simple. Those students that ANDI trains using 50/50 should not be taught that 50/50 can be used as bailout deeper than 70 feet. Period. Yes, I have no problems with carrying it deeper than 70 feet when carried only for deco purposes. But to suggest that you can go to it at a deeper depth is assinine. Now, let's consider "headquaters" biggest problem. They do not listen or take critisim. They do what they do, defend themselves using a cloud of bullshit, and are self centered around making money, even at the cost of diver safety. (Don't force me to cite examples here, or ANDI "heaquters" will "threaten" me with a libel and slander suit, a "tool" that people (in most cases big time assholes) in the wrong use as a defense mechanism. I have in the past tried working with ANDI Headquaters, specifically when Doug Petit was still working there. Even Doug got nowhere with "headquaters", and he was part of it. So this is not about me against my competitor, unless you choose to make it that. It is soley about safe procedure and protocol. So tell me mark, who are you and what do you know about safe protocol, standards, and dealing with divers that do not know what they are doing in the technical arena??????? (sorry to those of you who are intelligent and do know) Raimo.
